This is one of the best shows ever written with six years of meaning and perfect closure. I#39;ve never had anything on TV / Movies / Books as much as I loved Lost. For those who do not give this opportunity ... you are really missing something big.

I love television and - probably like you - I#39;ve seen tons of them. But I do not feel as excited about the parcels as I did before. Especially with Multi-season sample. The main reason is because most of the time if not - every time - those responsible for the plot (the writers) have no idea how it will end. And lost what might be called a case study for this. You can be sure , as you watch the first and second seasons, the writers did not intend - at that time - to end the story as they did. I had no idea how to end it. Take the time to see the actor interviews first and second end of the season and will be obvious. And not a single indication that you honestly can say I could have enjoyed this whole matter resolved in the first season, I had noticed this before - is probably the reverse. Another thing writers tend to make the game incredible heights in the final (in BSG, the same way) - so you do not feel you#39;ve been wasting your time. If you#39;re still not convinced writers have no idea how the plot will end, just consider this: the end is not up to the writers: it is the expectations of the audience (to know how they feel the show should end) and strategies of producers. Note each show is a product. In the end, what the writers have to do is make sure that the end is over-up-is in some way consistent with the early seasons. And let#39;s be honest: lost ending road did is the easiest way to imagine! not even have to worry about wrapping most of the subplots: our minds make some sense of them in some way. Perhaps my bitterness may be justified in trying to find the genius and art in default are: only one product, deserves much consideration by a team of specialized marketing a new detergent. That said, a very decent show, considering the shit we are fed formula every day.

Fantastic series, great, fantastic. Before you read the 1 star reviews here, just know this will be unhappy with the end of the entire series. It#39;s completely their right to have a negative opinion, but the comic is the way they are trying to make their opinions facts. The series was always about the characters, and eventually got a resolution of their stories. Science fiction, mysteries, and all questions were second building some fantastic characters and story arcs of thought six seasons. There are mysteries in the program that will capture your imagination? Of course! The mysteries take a backseat to the characters and their development? Of course! Are there any questions on this program that will never be answered? Of course! You see ... Lost ... like life ... NOT give you the answer to every question! And it should! not hit a series because their expectations are going to eat all the spoon answer to everything. I guess it#39;s a shame that the writers and creators of Lost do not expain why the grass was green and the sea was blue in the show too. Oh yes, and how the birds we see in the series of fact fly again, I think you need those answers too, or the series was horrible. Just because I thought it deserved a response to a particular question does not mean that all of America was thinking the same thing. Go back and watch the series other time, and this time REALLY RELAX and let go on the trip. the only way to understand the destiny of the end ... GREAT SERIES! 5 STAR !!!!

<img style="border: 0pt none;" src="http://www.watchesgiant.net/wp-content/plugins/amazon/images/star/5.0.gif" border="0" alt="Rating : 5" />
I got into Lost about six months ago when I was having a quiet night. My sister had long been in the show (first season) and had followed him from the beginning, and as such was the case, I ended up watching a few random events, mainly the third and fourth season. But I finally sat down and started watching from the beginning. Needless to say, I was hooked and accelerated during the first 5 seasons on Netflix and started the season sixth, when he was a / 3 of the way through. The story of Lost is something we have never encountered before in nothing, neither in television, not movies. The closest I came to she was on Heroes, but as I felt when the first 3 seasons in my original vision, I found the second and third season a little odd and far less convincing in my second point of view across. Of course, with the Hero, do not really have a purpose in mind - what just happened that was supposed to be a season at a time with different characters each season for four seasons with the same characters and a lot of weird things spread throughout the story. But back to Lost. Lost has me hooked, because it had interesting characters complicated back-stories, mysteries excited my desire to see what would happen next, and a chance to really flex my brain a little to connect the dots. Many aspects did not try to theorize about simply because the writers wanted to give the opportunity to answer any questions that they would respond. But looking back at the series of three months after the end I find it interesting to read and theorize about the answers to the mysteries that are not necessarily direct answers were given. One thing anyone who has not seen at all or have not completed the series has to know is that not all mysteries will be answered. That does not mean that a large number of unsolved mysteries (at least not many things that were actually intended to be true mysteries), but had a few, here and there that could have responded to or could have responded better. Of course, Damon Lindelof, one of the executive producers of the show, said that in the first season (in some DVD / BD extras) that there are some mysteries that do not give direct answers simply because they know that fans can probably get a better theories that satisfy them more than any answer that the writers can give. Sounds a bit like a cop-out , sure, but he was right. They have some great stories and often provide patches to help the audience connect the dots instead of explaining it all out, which for me personally it much more enjoyable. Many people, of course, only wanted answers to the most mundane questions that really have nothing to do with real history and can not be satisfied without all the answers, so were disappointed with the outcome. Some have even gone so far as to call the writers CON-MEN (in capital letters, too haha) because they expected all the questions to be answered (ABC, the network that broadcast the show, actually promoted the sixth season saying All questions will be answered, though the writers never promised that. For Of course, this explains why many people were disappointed with the questions that were not answered). Realistically, however, would have been impossible to answer every question, simply because a lot of people take so much in the fact that there were mysteries who were to read between the lines with each statement made shortly and ask questions that were never mean that you ask, let alone answered. Lost was not a perfect show. Some episodes were so lame, actually. But despite its flaws minors, I believe that global succeeded in developing a deep narrative (mostly) and flesh-out characters, much character development, intriguing mysteries, and a beautiful ending to tie everything together. If you are a person who wants Each mystery has been answered directly and specified, probably will not like Lost. But if you want something that will keep you connected with a strong global history, interesting characters, and plenty of mysteries to get you thinking, Lost is the program for you. But do not just take my word for it, or the word of any other reviewer. Watch the show for yourself before committing to spend $ 195 for the collection of BD or $ 149 for the DVD collection. Personally, I pre- BD collection order and am very excited to arrive later this month. If you decide to order or pre-order (and have the option to view Blu-Ray discs with either a player or a PS3), I recommend getting Blu-Ray version. This is one of those shows that takes full advantage of what Blu-Ray can do.

The Thin Red Line released by Criterion Blu-ray is simply the most wonderful news I received this week, one of my favorite movies of all time, a work of visual art, poetic, contemplative, focusing only as Terrence Malick can about the human condition and the nature of our world, this film set in against the war and devastating consequences spirit, in a masterpiece that breaks both overwhelming beauty and sadness and despair most exciting, with the help exquisite photography John Toll, and what I consider to be the best musical work of Hans Zimmer, and by far. a movie I will watch again and again, with much common ground between the characters and themes to reflect and so much beauty to absorb. I wonder if the length of this edition will be the same as Fox#39;s DVD release and theatrical versions, or if extended, and Malick#39;s own New World (also a sublime film) was. I have read Malick fired more six hours of footage for TTRL, and I love to see at least some of those who return to join or as a complement to, rather amazing performances by Sean Penn, Elias Koteas and Nick Nolte, more images of natural landscapes and wildlife Guadalcanal (all filmed in Australia). That said, I can not wait, and I really want for now is a version of Criterion Blu-ray for The English Patient. I remember the Criterion laserdisc for that film, another of my most beloved movies . had great additional content and presentation. Once again, great news, Criterion, and thanks.

With the news of the next release of Terrence Malick masterpiece The Thin Red Line in Blu-ray (of opinion, no less!), I#39;ll be able to die happy. In my humble opinion, TTRL is one of the best films ever made. I saw two times the first week of its launch in 1998 in a theater and have seen in the standard DVD many times since then. I can not wait to see it again in high definition on Blu-ray especially since it is also one of the most visually beautiful films ever made. It is not only a great war movie, but a spiritual poem honoring life in all its forms on our planet. It will never be as popular as Saving Private Ryan (launched the same year), but great art is not embraced by a mass audience. Actually, I have great faith in the general public taste or intelligence, the popularity of Transformers is just one of many examples. I#39;ve been waiting TTRL to be released on Blu-ray movies while much lower in this format are published every week and will be worth the wait because Criterion deserves its reputation as the best home video company to film buffs. I do not expect a comment Malick audio, because even more than Stanley Kubrick, has avoided the press, so his films speak for themselves, it leaves the viewer to interpret. As much as I have loved and used to the original box theater TTRL over the years, I would not mind seeing a longer version (there are two versions of Malick#39;s THE NEW WORLD on DVD), but I#39;m pretty happy to know that thanks to Criterion, I will be able to see a beautiful transfer of high TTRL definition at least. CRITERION FOR YOU!

This is one of those movies from your collection that always knew it was going to explode off the screen in blu ray. The Guadalcanal lush landscape, the crystal clear, blue waters surrounding the island chain. Scenes main battle is on which side of high, grassy hill set against the bright sunlight. The contrast of the exploding shells in the thick of field greens. This is the perfect film for blu ray! This is one of my favorite movies of the Pacific War. It was often one of those films people either love or hate. Many people could not get used to the soldiers away from the field thought that was a momentary escape from the horrors of battle. And these shown are thoughts, pausing for a moment the battle. There are a handful of these sequences of fantasy. Other people do not care about the stories given by the young soldier at the beginning. What is this war?, etc. Nick Nolte also has some thoughts, but adds that the film in my opinion. His eyes are upon him, Travolta says hin before. If you give the film a chance to place in a gritty, brutal war epic. The battle scenes are very well done. The soldiers try several times to attack from the front, but the Japanese have a bunker and machine gun nests at the top of the ridge and rain hell on the Americans. Some of the soldiers go crazy. The cast is surprisingly full of actors brand. Sean Penn, John Cusack, George Clooney, Nick Nolte, Woody Harrelson, John Travolta, etc. But make no mistake Nick Nolte is the star here. The scene of the film for me is when Lt. Colonel High (Nolte) is on the radio with Captain Staros (Elias Koteas). Staros Nolte wants to commit all the men on hand in a frontal assault. Staros refuses will not send my men to death. He suggests a movement accompaniment but Nolte wants nothing to talk about. The following is a Nolte-without saying a word went mad with rage, tries to regain her composure and then disappears when Staros. Its well done. Another scene that should not be forget The Japanese are finally running and some are captured as prisoners. The anger and absolute shame that the Japanese feel is captured very well here. The greatest disgrace to Japan and the emperor is in his mind have failed their country. It is the worst thing a Japanese soldier can do, not die on the battlefield, but are captured. A small detail that#39;s in this movie that adds a bit of the scenes with the natives of the island. These people were very helpful in the real battle as imformants Americans. The real battle, the Japanese ace Saburo Sakai as U.S. pilot demolishes Pug Sutherland. His plane crashes on Guadalcanal and finally enlists the help of the natives, which will help to return to their compatriots . So to see these people in the movie is great. The original version is a 5 star movie, but blu ray is presented even more dramatic.

I like this camera! I wanted a good rugged camera, waterproof digital and have researched extensively these attributes! Something that could take into the woods or when I kayak, I carry in my pocket and take me anywhere without worrying too much damage an accidental fall, I read comments from manufacturers and chose resistant cameras because I#39;ve been wearing Casio watches Casio G-Shock resistant for years, which have lasted for years and I#39;m sure if I replaced the battery would still be running now I am not an amateur camera, but I like what I see when I take a picture, I can not judge the video quality because I have not used this feature! In general I like this camera is a bit small for my hands but I do not I find it difficult to use. I need to buy a float chamber and that will happen in the near future or it might just represent an obstacle for now! All I hope is that hard, and my Casio watch and I#39;ll be happy! Only time will tell!

Pros: * Elegant * Deliciously thin * Waterproof (10 feet) * Shockproof (7 feet) * Proof of freezing (14 degrees F) * Large, bright LCD screen user interface * Sound * Pretty boot time fast (I#39;m used to a digital SLR), fast shutter response * * USB connection treated as a flash drive Cons: * The battery requires special tools for removal * Removal of the batteries needed to recharge * Battery * No charging via USB * Time Delay between pictures * F/3.9-5.4 (~ 7 mm to 20 mm) Thoughts: I loved this camera to carry around in your pocket. I did not know was there. I felt comfortable to wear the beach or pool. It is also very handsome. really stands out from the rest of the design point and shoot. It#39;s just a pain to change the battery! I#39;m supposed to keep this little plastic tool attaches to the wrist strap according to the instructions. If it did, it would be easy to fall and lose, then I would be a stream. In a pinch, a selection of the guitar can do the trick, but WOW, a special tool? Really? That was his solution? pity that no charge through the USB cable. So you do not have to have the battery - problem solved. I#39;m really on the fence over return. As for the photo quality is ISO auto land fairly regularly in 1600, and is terribly grainy. The 3x zoom is just enough, and the videos are quite small (680x450 pixels or less). Summary: Stylish, water resistant and wonderfully laptop with a fast startup time. All but bright lighting conditions producing grainy photos. Minimum zoom, and a special tool is needed for battery charges. I might have to settle for something that is larger and ordinary, but it has better pictures.
